• Constantly monitor the official website and Facebook pages of certain government sectors (DOST-PAGASA, DOST-PHIVOLCS, or the Local Government Units) for impending calamities.
• Important details and technicalities of the calamity (i.e., name of the calamity, location, signal/alert level, affected areas, etc.) should be recorded when necessary.
• Along with the criteria for public advisory dissemination, consider if the calamity does qualify on the set grounds before the announcement can be released to the College of Science President’s channel. If necessary, the advisory shall be released to the said channel.
• Depending on the severity of the calamity, the team must consider posting the said advisory on the College of Science Student Council Facebook page if deemed necessary.
• Based on obtained data from the Student Regional Directory, the ARRC shall identify which blocks would be affected and communicate with the respective Class Presidents and Peer Facilitators.
• Due to the possibility of Internet connectivity loss, a text blast containing a more precise advisory, along with relevant updates from the Dean’s office, shall be released to Class Presidents and Public Relations Officers if deemed necessary. The text blast aims to obtain essential updates from each block to closely monitor affected students. The Block Representatives may opt to communicate with ARRC through social media (i.e., Facebook Messenger) when convenient. The ARRC shall receive at least one (1) response from the Block Representatives regarding the students’ health and safety status.
